Indonesia is excluded — its reported series is annual registrations rather than cumulative stock and is not comparable (Indonesia's actual stock is ~125M per BPS). Vietnam's registry series ends in 2020 (72M; the national traffic agency cited 77M+ as of late 2024). Registered counts include inactive vehicles in some countries.
